Daniel Stainer is a published photographer and writer living in Western Pennsylvania. Daniel's images are often described as being painterly—drawing the eye into a thoughtfully composed mélange of color, light, line, texture, tone and perspective. Wandering the countryside in search of authentic slices of Americana, Daniel aspires to capture the essence and spirit of his subjects in much the same way that a poet might seek to understand the world in human terms through literary composition. Daniel is a past attendee of the acclaimed "Missouri Photo Workshop" and is a registered photojournalist with NPPA (National Press Photographers Association). When he's not working on his own documentary projects, he's a frequent contributor at "Pennsylvania Magazine."
